SU Holidays Summer 2019

Still looking for something to do in the summer holidays?  There are still a few places available at SU Holiday Camps.  These camps are open to all pupils in P5-S6 and run throughout the summer holidays.  Information booklets available from the school office or at the following website:

Sports cancelled

Due to a very wet pitch bith sprorts events have been cancelled this week.  We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.  We will be in touch soon with a new and hopefully sunnier date in the diary.

Scripture Union news

Congratulations to the Holm SU Group who came runners up in the Hugh McHardy Memorial Shield Creative Competition.  The group worked super hard to create a poster board showing all that we have been doing since starting up last September.  The competition was open to primary school SU groups throughout the north of Scotland – well done to pupils on their success!

On Friday 10th May, Gillian Gunn and five girls from the Holm SU group headed to Altnacriche (an outdoor centre near Aviemore) for an action packed weekend! There were lots of fun activities, good food and time to explore the Christian faith together. It was great to enjoy time away with people from our group and to make new friends from other schools across the Highlands! The next weekend away is being planned for September and others from the group will have the option to go then.

As well as the weekend away, five of our group have signed up for an SU week long summer camp!

SU will start up again in September and is open to all pupils in the new primary 5, 6 and 7 classes.  Look out nearer the time for more details on how children can get involved.
